Flybe Check-in
Passengers may check-in online between 36 hours and one hour before the scheduled departure time. For domestic travel, check-in desks close 30 minutes before take off if you are checking-in luggage, 20 minutes if you're travelling with hand luggage. On international flights, check-in desks close 60 minutes before take off if you are stowing luggage in the hold and 45 minutes if you are carrying cabin baggage. The majority of Flybe's UK airports have self-service kiosks.
Flybe baggage allowance
Hand luggage: on domestic UK and Ireland flights, the cabin baggage allowance is one piece weighing up to 10kg. The dimensions should not exceed 50 x 35 x 23cm including handles and wheels. There's a charge of £40, levied at the departure gate, for oversized luggage.
Checked: baggage fees vary but paying in advance nets a small discount. A small bag weighs up to 15kg and costs £11.99 if booked online. The cost is £18 if booked via the call centre. A medium-sized bag weighs up to 20kg and costs £12.99 online or £20 via the call centre. There are two other options: Extra Kilo, up to 23kg, £30.99 online or £35 call centre, and Go Large, up to 40kg, £42.99 online or £50 via call centre.
Excess: carried on a standby basis only, space permitting. The charge is £12 (or €14, 20CHF) per kg for the first 3kg, then £15 (or €17, 25CHF) per kg for between 4 and 6kg and £20 (or €23, 34CHF) for every kg after that).
