Jet2.com Check-in
Check-in desks open two hours prior to the scheduled departure time and close 40 minutes (30 minutes on domestic flights for passengers with hand luggage only) before scheduled departure. Online check-in is also available between 28 days and five hours before the departure time. Print off your boarding card at home; there's a fee if you don't have it at the airport - £17.50
Jet2.com baggage allowance
Hand luggage: One small item no heavier than 10kg and measuring a maximum of 56 x 45 x 25 cm (including handles and wheels).
Checked baggage: There's no free allowance. Passengers purchase the baggage allowance - 22kg for each travelling customer. No single item of baggage may weigh more than 32kg. Prices cost about £16 per 22kg bag. Airport rates are much higher - £30 per bag.
Excess baggage: rates are £10 per kg, payable at the airport.

Seat pitch: 76cm (30in) Emergency exit-row seats may be purhcased for between £12.50 and £19.99.
Pre-arranged seating
Seats are allocated at check-in on a first-come, first-served basis, however passengers can pre-select their seats in advance for a fee.
Passenger change details
There are fees if you need to change the date, time or name of passenger - £27.50 plus any difference in fares, taxes, fees or charges. There's an added charge if you pay by credit card (3.50 per cent) or PayPal (1.5 per cent of the total, a minimum charge of £3.49).
Child fares
Lap infant fares are £20 per flight. There's no child discount.
Senior fares
Jet2 doesn't offer discounts for older travellers.
Pets
Only guide dogs may travel in the cabin with their owner (subject to availability). Small pets travel in the aircraft hold, under the termsof the Pet Passport scheme.
Carrying musical instruments
A musical instrument can be carried onboard if it is within the permitted hand luggage dimensions (56 x 45 x 25cm) and weighs less than 10kg. Slightly larger instruments can be carried on board as long as it fits into the overhead bin. A musical instrument may also be checked as baggage provided it is within a strong, protective case. A separate seat may be purchased for a large musical instrument (such as a cello) instead of checking it in the aircraft’s baggage compartment.
In-flight service
Food and drinks are available for purchase. A Pot Noodle costs £2.60, a Kit Kat or Twix £1.20.
Air miles
Jet2.com operates the myJet2 loyalty programme, in which passengers accrue one point for every £1 spent on their fare. You need a minimum of 600 points to start qualifying for a free flight.
